Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Reservations Agent to handle all incoming reservations, ensuring the hotel maximizes sales of property rooms and facilities.

About the Role

">

- Answering incoming calls from the general public
- Supporting loyalty members with enquiries and membership information
- Delivering exceptional service to guests in meeting requests and exceeding guest expectations
- Promoting the hotel's facilities and converting enquiries into bookings
- Ensuring booking details are complete and correct at all times
- Following up on reservation details and entering details into the property management system
- Liaising with travel agents to ensure booking details are correct
- Checking daily arrivals and confirming details to ensure a smooth and seamless stay for every guest
- Following up on methods of payment with guests

Key Responsibilities

">

- Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any discrepancies or concerns

Requirements

">

- Previous Reservations experience in a Hotel Reservations or Front Office environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A great eye for detail to ensure all data is entered correctly
- Effective time management in a fast-paced environment
- A team player
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Previous experience with Opera PMS of a similar reservations system
