This is your chance to build strong partnerships in the Gastroenterology therapeutic area. Working closely with Healthcare Professionals, you will be part of a highly experienced cross-functional team that emphasizes collaboration and a 'winning-mindset'. Reporting to the National Business Manager, Immunology, you'll lead the Victorian West territory by partnering with key external stakeholders, owning your business through tactical account plans, while contributing to the overall strategic business strategy.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Achieve sales and customer engagement goals for the territory and state
  • Foster and develop long-term relationships with the Gastroenterology community
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to plan and implement key account management strategies to grow the Gastroenterology portfolio in your territory
  • Leverage market trends and insights into new business opportunities
  • Understand and communicate product information with confidence

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A successful sales track record in Pharmaceutical Sales, ideally with +5 years experience as a Key Account Manager in the Hospital/Specialist environment
  • Experience working in Gastroenterology or with Biologics will be considered highly advantageous
  • The ability to uncover customer needs and adapt your sales approach accordingly
  • A high level of business acumen is required, with the proven ability to adopt an account management approach to the business and customer base
  • A strategic mindset with sound competitor awareness
  • High Emotional Intelligence that facilitates autonomous and collaborative work; and personal commitment to excellence
