About the Role

This is a key position in the Network Planning Department that contributes to keeping Melbourne moving. You will be responsible for providing direct support to internal and external stakeholders regarding the business systems we use to provide a reliable and professional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate operational information in our software systems.
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders for system integrity and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Work with schools to maintain database information.
  • Work within a team to develop and implement initiatives as required.
  • Provide system familiarisation training to frontline employees as required.
  • Be a bridge for technical support tickets from frontline employees to software suppliers.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and be able to confidently liaise with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Public Transport industry experience is highly regarded.
  • Helpdesk and/or ITS experience is highly regarded.
  • Ability to work comfortably with software programs and technology systems – exposure to systems such as TIMS and BusMinder are highly advantageous but not necessary.
  • A lateral thinker with excellent time management skills.

Salary

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
