We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Corporate Governance Professional to support our Corporate Governance function. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of Board operations and executive decision making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage Board and Committee meetings from end to end, including agendas, papers, minutes, and action tracking.
  • Attend and accurately minute key governance forums and Executive meetings.
  • Maintain all governance records, statutory filings, and company registers to the highest standard.
  • Provide hands-on support with our Board portal (Diligent Board Books) and help onboard governance technology enhancements.
  • Collaborate on corporate projects and play an active role in rolling out new governance policies and procedures.
  • Build relationships with senior leaders and become a trusted governance advisor across the Group.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and maturity of our corporate governance culture.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting Boards or executive teams in a governance or compliance-focused role.
  • Strong understanding of Australia's corporate governance landscape, preferably within financial services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in engaging senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset; you're organised, responsive, and resilient under pressure.
  • Impeccable attention to detail, a natural problem solver, and trusted with confidential information.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite.
  • Experience with digital Board tools (e.g., Diligent) is highly desirable.
  • Qualifications in Law, Governance, or a related discipline, and membership of a professional body (e.g., Governance Institute of Australia) is highly regarded.
