Job Description

As a Product Support Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting Bridgestone OTR tyres, iTrack, and BMSA related products to existing and potential customers. You will work with colleagues to optimise OTR tyre selection and use of iTrack to satisfy customer requirements, conduct presentations or technical training on OTR tyres or iTrack for customers or BMSA personnel, troubleshoot technical and operational issues for customers and BMSA personnel, identify new product and product improvement opportunities for OTR tyres or iTrack, plan, organise, conduct, and summarise field trials of new and current products including tyres or iTrack, assist the Sales team to monitor and maintain tyre performance guarantees and product warranties, develop and maintain a database to improve market intelligence, and assist sales personnel in forecasting, planning, and strategy of tyre and iTrack sales.

About You
  • You will have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in technical support or a related field, demonstrated ability to analyse problems, think critically, and provide effective solutions, knowledge of Microsoft Office programs with advanced Excel skills, high-level data analysis and manipulation skills, excellent communication (verbal/written) skills, a strong commitment to safety of yourself and others, patience and flexibility for frequent travel, a valid driver's licence, and current work rights in Australia.
  • Preferrably, you will have tertiary qualifications in engineering or similar, ability in computer programming and managing databases, and exposure to OTR tyres or the mining industry.
