Job Description:

Nutrien Ag Solutions is a leading Australian agribusiness offering a range of services to growers, including precision farming, marketing, and financial solutions. As an Agronomy Account Manager, you will be responsible for sharing information with producers related to environmental and seasonal conditions affecting crop production.

Key responsibilities include performing soil testing, studying factors affecting production, and providing sound fertiliser, nutrient, and soil recommendations to improve quality and yield. You will also work collaboratively with branch staff to drive promotions, merchandising, and sales performance.

In addition, you will engage and work alongside a team within an established business, servicing the needs of cutting-edge farmers who have significant experience partnering with producers. Your goal will be to increase the productivity, profitability, and sustainability of farming enterprises.

Responsibilities include building and ensuring successful partnerships with customers, delivering appropriate agronomic advice and services, and demonstrating excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role or relevant field
  • Strong knowledge of fertiliser, seed, and chemical products and their applications
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills
