Job Title: Agronomist Advisor

Agronomist advisor sought to provide expert advice on crop management and fertiliser recommendations to farmers in the Kimba region.

About the Opportunity:
  • Collaborate with key clients to deliver superior agronomic services, focusing on broadacre agronomy and crop monitoring.
  • Share information on environmental and seasonal conditions affecting crop production, perform soil testing, and provide sound recommendations to improve quality and yield.
  • Crop list expands annually, offering opportunities to work with a diverse range of horticulture/broadacre cropping.
  • Conduct field demonstrations and trial work for product development in conjunction with suppliers.
  • Work closely with branch staff to drive promotions, merchandising, and sales performance.
  • Engage and collaborate with a team to service the needs of cutting-edge farmers with significant experience partnering with producers.
  • Responsibility for increasing the productivity, profitability, and sustainability of farming enterprises.
About You:
  • Strong technical knowledge in agronomic practices and application, preferably broadacre and/or pasture experience.
  • Ideal 2-3 years building and ensuring successful partnerships with customers, delivering appropriate agronomic advice and services.
  • History of success in executing sales outcomes using specialist knowledge of fertiliser, seed, and chemical products and application applicable to those crops.
  • Demonstrate excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Driver's licence and forklift licence advantageous.
