- Work closely with clients to deliver sound fertiliser, nutrient, and soil recommendations to improve quality and yield.
- Share information related to environmental and seasonal conditions affecting crop production, perform soil testing, and study factors affecting production.
- Gain exposure to a broad range of horticulture/broadacre cropping as farmers diversify their crops.
- Conduct field demonstrations and trial work for product development in conjunction with suppliers.
- Collaborate with branch staff to drive promotions, merchandising, and sales performance.
- Engage with a team within an established business servicing the needs of cutting-edge farmers with significant experience partnering with producers.
- Responsibility for increasing productivity, profitability, and sustainability of farming enterprises.
- Strong technical knowledge in agronomic practices and application, preferably broadacre and/or pasture experience.
- Ideal candidate has 2-3 years of building and ensuring successful partnerships with customers, delivering appropriate agronomic advice and services.
- History of success in executing sales outcomes using specialist knowledge of fertiliser, seed, and chemical products and application applicable to those crops.
- Demonstrate excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
- Driver's licence is essential; forklift licence would be advantageous.
