Key Responsibilities:
  • You will share vital information with farmers related to environmental and seasonal conditions affecting crop production, conduct soil tests, and analyze other factors impacting productivity to provide expert fertiliser, nutrient, and soil recommendations that enhance quality and yield.
  • Ongoing crop diversification offers a great opportunity to gain exposure to various horticulture and broadacre cropping systems.
  • You will collaborate with branch staff to develop promotional strategies, improve merchandising, and drive sales performance.
  • Engage and work effectively with a team within an established business, servicing the needs of cutting-edge farmers who have significant experience partnering with producers.
  • Your primary goal will be to increase the productivity, profitability, and sustainability of farming enterprises.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in building successful partnerships with customers, delivering tailored agronomic advice and services would be ideal.
  • A history of achieving sales success using your specialist knowledge of fertiliser, seed, and chemical products and applications applicable to those crops would be beneficial.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills are essential for this role.
  • A valid driver's licence, while not essential, would be advantageous, and a forklift licence would also be a valuable asset.
