Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Crops and Agronomy Expert to join our team. As an agronomic advisor, you will work closely with our key clients in the region to provide superior agronomic advice and inputs focused on broadacre agronomy and crop monitoring.

  • You will share information with producers related to environmental and seasonal conditions affecting crop production, perform soil testing, and study other factors affecting production to provide sound recommendations for fertiliser, nutrient, and soil improvement.
  • The crop list is diverse and growing annually as farmers look to diversify, offering a great opportunity to gain exposure to various horticulture/broadacre cropping systems.
  • You will conduct field demonstrations and trial work for product development in conjunction with key suppliers to enhance their products.
About the Role
  • Strong technical knowledge in agronomic practices and application, preferably broadacre and/or pasture experience is required.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in building and ensuring successful partnerships with customers, delivering appropriate agronomic advice and services would be ideal.
  • A history of success in executing sales outcomes using specialist knowledge of fertiliser, seed, and chemical products and application applicable to those crops is necessary.
