Key Responsibilities:
  • You will share information with producers related to environmental and seasonal conditions affecting crop production.
  • You will perform soil testing and study other factors affecting production in order to provide sound fertiliser, nutrient, and soil recommendations.
  • The crop list grows every year with farmers looking to diversify, so we offer a great opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of horticulture/broadacre cropping.
  • You will work collaboratively with branch staff to drive promotions, merchandising and sales performance.
  • Engage and work alongside a team within an established business, servicing the needs of cutting-edge farmers who have significant experience partnering with producers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ideally you will have a minimum 2 - 3 years building and ensuring successful partnerships with customers, delivering appropriate agronomic advice and services.
  • A history of success in executing sales outcomes using your specialist knowledge of fertiliser, seed and chemical products and application applicable to those crops.
  • You will demonstrate excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
  • A driver's licence is required and whilst not essential a forklift licence would be advantageous.
