About the Opportunity

Are you a seasoned project manager seeking a new challenge? Do you have a passion for delivering impactful results? We're looking for a Strategic Impact Manager to join our team at the University of New South Wales.

Job Summary

The Strategic Impact Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing the Impact Indicators platform, working closely with colleagues across the Faculty of Science. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference and contribute to the university's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive impact and improve outcomes for the Impact Indicators platform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver effective solutions that meet their needs.
  • Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
  • Analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, providing insights to inform decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including academics, researchers, and industry partners.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and proven experience in project management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with budgeting and resource allocation procedures, with a focus on delivering results within budget.
  • A high level of organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including:

  • A salary range of $123,000 - $138,000 per annum, plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading.
  • A fixed-term contract for 12 months, with the possibility of extension or permanent appointment.
  • Full-time (35 hours per week) employment, with flexible working arrangements available.
