Job Title: Global Impact Programs Manager (Grants)

As the Global Impact Programs Manager (Grants), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and expanding our grants portfolio, including the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP) and other institutional funding streams.

You will lead a dedicated team of skilled International Program Coordinators, driving impactful partnerships with local Christian organizations and managing projects with a strong focus on effective program cycle management (PCM) and best practice development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grants and Partnership Management: Ensure effective coordination of grant funded projects, partnering with local organizations across Africa, Asia, and the Pacific to meet project goals and achieve sustainable outcomes, while maintaining adherence to compliance and DFAT accreditation standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a small team of International Program Coordinators, supporting their professional development and ensuring excellence in project implementation and compliance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Actively engage with stakeholders, represent BWA/TAI at relevant sector events, contribute to ongoing learning, and build networks that support our strategic vision.
  • Strategy and Business Development: Identify and pursue new partnership and project opportunities in alignment with BWA/TAI's priorities, securing resources to expand the reach and impact of our mission.

Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years international development experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating institutional grants (such as ANCP, AHP or other).
  • Strong understanding of compliance issues and requirements in the international development sector specifically ACFID and DFAT accreditation.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications: post-graduate degree in International Development, Social Change, International Studies, Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology, Human Geography or related discipline.
