We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People & Performance Business Partner to join our team in Sydney. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the employee experience and drive positive change within the organisation.

The People & Performance Business Partner will work closely with our business functions as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on key people matters. This role is essential to creating a positive and compliant workplace environment and supports leaders in driving performance and employee engagement.

This role is responsible for:

  • Providing strategic advice on complex employee and industrial relations matters, including grievances, performance management, and enterprise bargaining.
  • Leading and supporting change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and employee engagement.
  • Identifying and executing opportunities to streamline HR processes, enhancing organisational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment and occupational health and safety legislation, supporting business leaders in navigating relevant laws and policies.
  • Contribute to the development of insights and reporting for senior leadership and other stakeholders, helping shape informed decisions.

What we're looking for:

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 years of HR generalist experience with proven ability to build trust-based relationships with leaders and support them on complex people matters.
  • Strong knowledge of employee and industrial relations legislation and experience in practical HR solutions.
  • A strategic mindset with strong business acumen and a commitment to supporting effective, commercial people strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
