About the Role at AMP

This is a Content Strategist & Writer position with one of the leading companies in Australia, AMP. The company is continuing to grow rapidly, and this is an excellent opportunity to join the team as they expand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that align with AMP's brand goals and marketing objectives.
  • Own the content playbook and strategy for AMP.
  • Maintain a content calendar and ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all content touchpoints.
  • Conduct content audits and research to identify trends, keywords, and topics relevant to the industry and audience.
  • Work with subject matter experts, designers, and other team members to produce high-quality, informative, and engaging content.
  • Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content for various platforms, including the website, insights hub, social media, email campaigns, and more.
  • Drive the uplift of the customer newsletter by focusing on segmentation, targeting, and tailoring content to suit different audience segments.
  • Implement search engine optimization (SEO) best practices and ensure all content is optimized for search engines to increase organic traffic and improve search rankings.
  • Research and stay up to date on the latest developments in terms of SEO, content trends, and consumer behavior.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to refine strategies and improve results.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in content strategy and writing, preferably within financial services experience.
  • Experience using back-end platforms, such as CMS tools, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), analytics tools, and creative software for content creation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • An understanding of advertising, social, and content digital channels and how to create for variety of channels and expertly adapt copy to suit creative channels.
  • A keen understanding of brand strategy, customer value propositions, and how to write based off insights and data.
  • Experience applying human-centred design principles to content creation.
