The purpose of this role is to service and grow a client portfolio by assisting our senior brokers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and compiling new business quotes and renewals
  • Providing high-level customer service with tight turnaround times to clients, brokers, underwriters and other key stakeholders
  • Assisting in overall account management and debtor management
  • Seeking opportunities to improve internal business processes and cost efficiencies
  • Gathering relevant client information and identifying key issues to provide assistance to brokers
  • Ensuring 100% accuracy of documentation and policies for external and internal clients and procedures
  • Keeping informed of industry trends by attending internal and external training sessions, industry seminars etc.
  • Applying best business practices in all activities ethically, professionally and with integrity
  • Assisting with various administrative tasks to ensure the office runs smoothly

This role requires a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar administrative role or an interest in the insurance industry, plus:

  • Tier 1 qualification desirable OR must be willing to complete upon commencement as fully supported by the business
  • A strong desire to learn and grow in a professional setting
  • A keen eye for detail and excel at managing multiple tasks
  • Proactive and always ready to lend a helping hand
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable with office software and technology, eager to leverage tools to enhance efficiency

Gallagher offers a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Other benefits include:
