Senior Administration Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Administration Assistant to join our team at the Department of Justice. As a key member of our unit, you will play a critical role in providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our day-to-day activities.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support: Provide high-level administrative functions to support the day-to-day operations of the Unit, including reception services for stakeholders, associated organisations, and victims seeking support.
- Meeting Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate meetings with associated organisations and agencies, prepare and collate correspondence/documentation, record meeting outcomes, distribute actionable items, and disburse minutes.
- Client Tracking: Ensure the continuous tracking of clients through various information management systems, collate, input, and maintain registers and databases.
- Application Review: Review applications to the program and provide recommendations to the Manager regarding eligibility.
- Committee Support: Provide high-level administrative support to committees, liaise with internal and external stakeholders associated with the Safe at Home Program.
- Team Collaboration: Contribute to the achievement of team objectives and the equitable allocation of workload by working effectively as part of a small state-wide team.
- Information Exchange: Coordinate information exchange between stakeholders.
The Head of State Service has determined that the person nominated for this vacancy is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer.
