We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pricing Advisor to join our team at Suncorp Group. As a key member of our pricing team, you will be responsible for developing and integrating end-to-end pricing capability and insights across products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop pricing recommendations and proposals to align pricing strategy with budget and implement timely price changes.
  • Guide pricing and senior pricing analysts on all pricing tasks.
  • Analyze data and reports to identify trends and drive innovation and improvement in business results.
  • Translate P&L items into pricing assumptions.
  • Provide technical support on model methodologies and their implementation.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the general insurance industry, preferably with end-to-end solutions.
  • Insurance pricing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and pricing of key business drivers.
  • Understanding of actuarial IBNR/IBNER models.
  • Ability to develop solutions and courses of action using information to identify key issues and determine cause-effect relationships.
  • Knowledge of and experience in using SAS, Excel, R, and other programming skillsets.
