Senior Pricing Analyst

At Aurizon, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pricing Analyst to join our Containerised Freight team. As a key member of our pricing strategy team, you will play a critical role in shaping our pricing strategies, developing and maintaining pricing models, and providing expert recommendations to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong internal and external partnerships to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Develop, monitor, and review pricing and investment models to identify business opportunities and provide expert recommendations.
  • Deliver detailed forecasting, advice, and reporting to drive business performance and revenue growth.
  • Propose strategies and initiatives to drive business growth and revenue, while evaluating risks and impacts of alternative solutions.
  • Establish frameworks for efficient support, using research and analysis to provide relevant data, reports, and insights to stakeholders.
  • Analyse complex information, assess risks, and recommend solutions to navigate barriers to success.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary degree in Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Strong financial modelling and report writing skills.
  • High-level analytical, research, and problem-solving skills to provide strategic, value-adding solutions and recommendations.
  • In-depth knowledge of the strategic issues affecting large organisations, with an understanding of complex business performance drivers.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate, network, and influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to implement strategic initiatives that deliver long-term, sustainable results.
