This pivotal role oversees the Gases logistics operations, ensuring seamless coordination of safety, strategic, and operational plans while managing resources to deliver a profitable and high-performing business.
As the primary executive representative, you will foster strong partnerships and deliver exceptional service. You will champion a unified culture of safety, people, customer focus, and operational excellence across the organisation.
This role can be based in Sydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Safety Culture: Lead the implementation of rigorous safety risk management and a culture of care.
- Operational Leadership: Oversee all logistics operations related to Gases contracts, ensuring governance, compliance, and standardised processes.
- Team & Culture Development: Provide inspirational leadership to build a high-performance team and a positive workplace culture focused on collaboration, capability uplift, and continuous improvement.
- Resource & Asset Management: Ensure optimal allocation of people, systems, financial resources, and assets to meet operational plans and drive productivity.
- Customer & Commercial Focus: Build strong customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and apply commercial acumen to deliver sustainable, profitable partnerships.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Champion initiatives that simplify processes, eliminate waste, and enhance value and profit performance across customer contracts.
The ideal candidate has a tertiary qualification in logistics or a business-related discipline, demonstrated management experience in transport or logistics, and knowledge of WA HVA and AMMS.
