Job Description

The ideal candidate must have demonstrated experience as a Pastry Chef in an al a carte restaurant, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships. They should also be able to work autonomously and lead a team, demonstrating a positive attitude and genuine interest in the day-to-day operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the overall operation of their allocated section runs smoothly and effectively. They will use correct techniques and follow procedures and recipes when preparing and cooking menu items, while maintaining excellent attention to detail and outstanding time management during preparation and service periods.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Qualification in Patisserie, Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will receive generous discounts in our venues and access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
