Engineering Leader Role

You will play a key role in the Snowy 2.0 project, participating in design governance and collaborating with contractors and subcontractors to support and develop project designs.

You will provide essential assurance to the construction and quality teams, offering expert supervision and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Compliance: Implementing and upholding employer requirements and design management plans, conducting thorough design reviews of contractor submissions.

Collaboration and Integration: Collaborating with contractors and other disciplines through the design and governance process.

  • Testing & Commissioning: Participating in factory acceptance tests and site acceptance tests, developing and resolving snag lists with the contractor.

Technical Support & Quality Assurance: Assisting in addressing manufacturing and site installation issues, working closely with the quality department and the Electrical Engineering Lead.

About You

A tertiary qualification in electrical engineering and experience in a related industry, such as civil construction or utilities, are required for this role.
