About the role

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage electrical design and supply scope packages.

The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, supplier coordination, and design optimization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, directing, and managing full scope of electrical design and supply scope packages
  • Managing and driving key design and supply activities of suppliers and interfacing with other project stakeholders
  • Delegating tasks to multi-disciplinary project teams and managing to ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard
  • Ensuring Suppliers' deliverables and interrelated work is completed sequentially and in accordance with the contract and the project's key delivery dates
  • Pursuing opportunities for design optimization and value engineering
  • Communicating outputs and guiding action based on identification of any impacts on schedule, quality, and cost, and mitigating impacts and reporting as required
  • Sharing regular progress reports with stakeholders and clients
  • Resolving issues or delays, reducing risk of delays and cost overruns
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to solve technical, budget, and time constraints
  • Reviewing project documents such as design drawings, specifications, inspection reports, and changes, and taking appropriate action if required
  • Conducting regular meetings with suppliers and engineering/other stakeholders
  • Identifying, mitigating, and escalating risks to enable the project to meet its project schedule and obligations, minimizing risk, and maximizing opportunities for cost avoidance and/or cost reduction
  • Regular interaction with Quality to ensure timely inspections and reviewing inspection reports to be across any material corrective actions required
  • Monitoring performance and/or KPIs and proactively resolving issues related to supplier performance, and ensuring that all records are methodically archived in line with procedures as the project progresses
