Electrical Design and Supply Specialist

Manage the planning, direction, and control of electrical design and supply scope packages to ensure timely delivery and budget adherence.

  • Evaluate supplier deliverables and interrelated work for sequential completion according to contract and project delivery dates.
  • Communicate outputs and guide action based on identification of impacts on schedule, quality, and cost.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to solve technical, budget, and time constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and direct the management of electrical design and supply scope packages.
  • Delegate tasks to a multi-disciplinary project team and manage work completion on time and to a high standard.
  • Share regular progress reports with stakeholders and clients.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management/Electrical Engineering; Professional Engineer an advantage.
  • Experience in procurement of electrical plant and equipment for large infrastructure projects.
  • Quality coordination experience in supply chain desirable.
  • Sound experience in electrical design practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Substation construction and installation experience.
  • HV and LV reticulation experience.
  • Commissioning of electrical power infrastructure experience.

Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential. Proficiency in computer software including Microsoft Office, SAP, Aconex an advantage.
