Electrical Project Manager Job

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of electrical design and supply scope packages for large-scale projects. The successful candidate will plan, direct, and manage electrical design and supply activities to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and specification compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage key design and supply activities of suppliers and interface with project stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Delegate tasks to a multi-disciplinary project team and manage work completion on time and to a high standard, ensuring that all deliverables meet the required quality standards.
  • Ensure Supplier's deliverables and interrelated work are completed sequentially and in accordance with the contract and project delivery dates, minimizing the risk of delays and cost overruns.
  • Communicate outputs and guide action based on identified impacts on schedule, quality, and cost, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned with project progress.
  • Share regular progress reports with stakeholders and clients to maintain transparency and visibility into project performance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the procurement of electrical plant and equipment for large infrastructure projects, as well as sound knowledge of electrical design practices and experience in Substation construction and installation.

Your Profile:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in the field.
  • Experience in quality coordination in the supply chain and strong communication skills to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong project management expertise and experience in contract management and schedule interpretation, with the ability to use initiative and solve problems through analytical thinking.
  • Able to work with cross-regional teams and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, SAP, and Aconex is an advantage.
