Job Title: Project Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to support the electrical and mechanical erection scope of works at the Snowy 2.0 site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating field service scheduling with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with contractual milestones and client timelines.

  • Update and manage synchronization of field schedules with master and integrated schedules shared with the client
  • Monitor progress and performance at site in close coordination with the Site Project Manager and Supervisors
  • Identify schedule risks and deviations early, propose mitigations or recovery plans, and ensure adherence to key project deadlines

This is a site-based role operating on a 14/7 FIFO roster.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a detailed Primavera P6 schedule for mechanical and electrical erection activities, including turbines, generators, hydraulic steel structures, and balance of plant systems
  • Coordinate field service scheduling with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with contractual milestones and client timelines
  • Update and manage synchronization of field schedules with master and integrated schedules shared with the client
  • Monitor progress and performance at site in close coordination with the Site Project Manager and Supervisors
  • Identify schedule risks and deviations early, propose mitigations or recovery plans, and ensure adherence to key project deadlines
  • Interface closely with subcontractors to assess progress against plan and manage dependencies
  • Report earned progress, critical path changes, and float consumption
  • Assist with rolling look-ahead planning in partnership with site leadership
  • Contribute to preventive planning to reduce schedule impacts during commissioning and unit operations
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical)
  • 10+ years' experience in senior scheduling roles, including at least 5 years as a lead scheduler on large-scale hydro or complex infrastructure projects
  • Proven experience in installation and commissioning planning of heavy mechanical systems
  • High-level proficiency in Primavera P6, with additional capability in Power BI and SAP considered advantageous
  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness
