About the Role

Liebherr-Australia's Maritime Cargo and Construction Division is seeking a skilled Inventory & Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at our Erskine Park office, reporting to the National Parts Manager.

Main Responsibilities
  • Inventory Optimization: Drive inventory optimization, utilization, and cost minimization by working closely with stakeholders and applying best practice inventory management principles.
  • Order Management: Place orders in line with defined inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery of parts and materials.
  • Collaboration: Cultivate collaborative relationships with Parts, Sales, and Service teams to achieve common goals.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance demand forecast accuracy and overall supply chain efficiency.
About You
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in purchasing, logistics, or inventory management would be highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate variances and inaccuracies and implement appropriate changes.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office, with a strong understanding of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Communication: Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a high attention to detail.
