Job Opportunity

BlueScope is a leading global steel company, driven by innovation and committed to delivering high-quality products and services to our customers. We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Scheduler to join our Western Sydney Service Centre Team at our Erskine Park Manufacturing facility.

The Role

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting all matters relating to production scheduling and achieving smooth operations for our plant. You will drive collaboration with our operations team to support the day-to-day scheduling of our product and transportation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop daily and weekly flow plans across all Western Sydney production units to maximize delivery performance to our customers.
  • Work closely with Fulfillment, Customer Service, Operations, and Transport to coordinate critical customer supply requirements and support achieving utilization targets for all production units.
  • Identify opportunities within our logistics operation to improve efficiency, with a focus on delivering outstanding service to our clients.
  • Utilize our planning and scheduling systems and actively seek out continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage procurement of consumables for the Western Sydney production unit.

Requirements

You will have previous manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain experience. You will take a consultative and supportive management approach but can be decisive when required.
