We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Risk Specialist to join our Commodities and Global Markets Group. As an integral part of our team, you will play a key role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks that could impact our trading activities.
About the Role- This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our dynamic group and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our risk management framework.
- Assess and manage end-to-end risks and controls environment across various businesses, leveraging expertise in Financial Markets.
- Support and facilitate process improvements, ensuring comprehensive knowledge of all processes to proactively manage operational risks.
- Partner with trading desks and support groups to develop a deep understanding of trading activities and identify areas for operational risk enhancement.
- At least 3 years of experience in non-financial risk management, preferably within financial markets.
- Prior experience in trading, compliance, and surveillance related to trading will be considered.
- A strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret and balance commercial issues within a risk framework.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with senior colleagues.
