Job Description

The Role:

This is a pivotal opportunity to lead strategic risk initiatives and drive maturity uplift activities across the organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective risk management frameworks, policies, and standards.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

You will need:

  • 7+ years of experience in compliance management within the finance and banking industry.
  • A solid understanding of relevant laws and regulations, industry codes, standards, and prudential requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in operational risk and compliance roles, including design and implementation of effective risk and compliance management frameworks.
  • A sound knowledge of APRA prudential standards.
  • Experience with engagement with external parties, ideally with regulators and industry forums.
  • Demonstrated experience in building risk and compliance maturity and capability across the first and second lines of defence and experience/exposure to best industry practice.
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills with the ability to build effective workplace relationships.
