We are seeking an experienced Risk Manager to join our Risk and Compliance team. The successful candidate will oversee risk management activities across the organisation, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organisational objectives.
This vital role will support the Head of Risk in implementing a comprehensive risk management framework, assisting business units in executing their risk management duties, including risk profiling and incident management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of risk management principles and their application within a financial services context, particularly in superannuation. They will be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Review and challenge risk profiles and risk assessments.
- Oversee control assurance activities and undertake Line 2 controls assurance.
- Support the implementation of the Risk Management Framework.
- Support policy review and ownership.
- Coordinate risk reporting for the Audit and Risk Committee.
- Engage with stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration on risk management and compliance matters.
- Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline.
- 2-3+ years of experience in risk advisory, preferably within the superannuation sector or institutional investment organizations.
- Good understanding of risk management principles and their application within a financial services context.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
