POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Technician to oversee operations at our advanced Robotics Fulfillment Center.

This is a full-time hourly position with a day/night shift pattern, operating on a 4 days/12 hours shift schedule.

The role involves leading a technical team to deliver both reactive and proactive maintenance services for all operational machinery and facility infrastructure within the Fulfillment Center.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate Maintenance Technicians, providing guidance and direction to help them achieve their objectives.
- Implement and uphold Preventive Maintenance programs and ensure compliance with facility management standards.
- Champion safety practices within the team and promote a culture of safe working across the site.
- Manage maintenance-related procurement to ensure smooth facility operations and maintain adequate inventory levels for critical spare parts.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot all Fulfillment Center systems, including power distribution, automated material handling equipment, and other operational machinery.
- Foster positive working relationships across all organizational levels, participating in site leadership meetings and steering committees.

A Day in the Role
During each shift, you will lead a team to ensure that all equipment is operational and meets regulatory standards. This includes monitoring processes to ensure compliance and executing preventative maintenance to enhance equipment uptime.
Based on your observations, you will recommend improvements to optimize our systems for greater efficiency and productivity.

About the Team
The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team is dedicated to keeping our equipment functioning at peak performance. We are a technically skilled group, comprised of collaborative team players guided by experienced leaders. Together, we maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment across our global network of fulfillment centers. Our team manages various aspects of Amazon's technical operations, including ensuring legal compliance and maximizing site efficiency. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Formal trade qualification as a Fitter/Turner (Cert III in Engineering Mechanical Trade) or a current electrical trade license (Cert III in Electrotechnology).
- Proven experience in a maintenance-focused role, with expertise in electrical or mechanical disciplines.
- Experience mentoring and developing junior technicians.
- Familiarity with automation or complex Material Handling Equipment (MHE) environments.
- Proficient in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for planning proactive maintenance and documenting reactive tasks.
- Understanding of overall equipment effectiveness and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements.
- Experience in contractor management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and influence team members.
- Proven capability to multitask and prioritize various projects and workloads.
- Management experience with the ability to mentor and develop training plans for service technicians.
