Operations Area Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for skilled Operations Area Managers to oversee our Customer Fulfillment operations at our Robotics Fulfillment Center.
As an Operations Area Manager, you will be responsible for guiding and nurturing a team of associates in various segments of the Fulfillment Center Operations, including receiving, stowing, picking, packing, or shipping. Your focus will be on enhancing the efficiency of delivery processes, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled with speed, precision, and cost-effectiveness. You will collaborate with your peers to ensure seamless workflows and exceed customer expectations.
WORK SCHEDULE
The shift pattern consists of 4 days on and 3 days off, either from Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and mentor a team of associates,
- Uphold Health and Safety standards within your area while fostering a positive Health and Safety culture on-site,
- Set performance goals and objectives to meet customer expectations and ensure quality and accuracy,
- Collaborate with support teams such as Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to create plans that align with business goals,
- Work alongside the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards,
- Analyze work forecasts to determine daily production requirements to achieve overall building objectives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field,
- Proven managerial experience with sizable teams; skilled in motivating and building strong relationships,
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills: capable of conducting in-depth analysis on complex processes,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Direct management experience with employee performance,
- Familiarity with performance metrics and process enhancement,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook,
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
