**Project Management Expertise**


Sanitarium is seeking a highly skilled Capital Expenditure Manager to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously across various sites, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery of project outcomes.


**Key Responsibilities**



  • Provide professional project management activities covering multi-disciplinary engineering fields, including building design and construction, electrical, mechanical, and process/chemical engineering.
  • Manage a team of project managers, engineers, and trades, as well as third-party resources, to deliver project outcomes.
  • Oversee the management of multiple projects across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with company objectives and standards.
  • Conduct design and design audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Develop and maintain constructive stakeholder relationships to ensure effective communication and project success.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, customers, and other stakeholders to identify future project opportunities and develop solutions.
  • Determine capital budget costs and schedules to ensure project feasibility and success.
  • Develop and implement engineering processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Report on active projects to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Manage third-party suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of project outcomes.
  • Maintain a strategic overview of current and future engineering and project requirements to ensure company growth and success.
  • Stay abreast of technological advances and their potential application to Sanitarium.

**Requirements**



  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in project management of capital works, including experience managing projects over $20 million in value.
  • 10+ years of experience in a food manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of company operations and processes.
  • Proficient use of the AutoCAD suite of software applications, including AutoCAD, Inventor, and BMS software.
  • Experience in new product development and management of building development and construction.
