We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineering Project Manager to join our team at Sanitarium's Berkeley Vale Manufacturing site in New South Wales, Australia.

About the Role

This is a permanent opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual with strong project management skills to lead and manage capital expenditure projects across various disciplines including product, packaging, build, and process change initiatives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a robust change management process is in place, delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards. Strong relationship management skills, experience working in an FMCG environment, and a deep understanding of engineering design principles are essential for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional project management activities across multi-disciplinary engineering fields
  • Manage project needs and expectations, deliver to budget and schedule, and maintain compliance to standards and regulatory authorities
  • Effectively manage relationships and communications with project stakeholders to meet time and budget requirements
  • Work with a team of trades and third-party resources as needed to deliver project outcomes
  • Recommend and influence engineering capital investment options
  • Maintain records of active projects and provide reports as required
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or trade qualification in a related field
  • 10+ years' experience in project management, specifically in CAPEX projects, building works, and food manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of project delivery, including financial acumen and project schedules
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects, leading teams, and influencing stakeholders
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Inventor, and BMS Software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
