About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Learning & Development professional to join our team as a Strategic Learning Solutions Designer. This role reports to the Learning Design Manager and collaborates closely with other areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learning Solution Design: Prepare high-quality learning solutions, including detailed learning objectives, evaluation strategies, organisation of proposed content, planning the look and feel, creating/writing/curating content, and developing final materials.
  • Facilitator Support: Plan and deploy techniques and communications to enhance facilitators' success in delivering the learning solution.
  • Process Improvement: Adopt a continuous improvement and process efficiency approach, contributing to the refinement and improvement of processes, templates, methodologies, and systems.
  • Project Management: Provide project direction and briefings to both internal and external resources working on the project, proactively engaging with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to effectively manage and meet project milestones.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively manage stakeholder relationships and expectations, educating them as needed, and escalating issues and risks as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the design and development of learning.
  • eLearning Authoring Tools: Experience with eLearning authoring tools, such as Lectora and Captivate (desired).
  • Instructional Design: Experience in instructional design of blended learning solutions and design methodologies.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrated high-level interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with subject matter experts to develop clear and practical learning materials across a wide range of complex topics.
  • Project Management: Project management experience.
  • Vendor Management: Vendor management experience.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary package of approximately $110,000 per annum, based on Australian standards and industry benchmarks.
