About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Coordinator to join our team at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). As a key member of our Training and Education team, you will be responsible for the delivery of the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) program within the NSW training region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the customer-facing relationship with registrars, supervisors, and practices to ensure high-quality education outcomes.
  • Coordinate registrar training activities, including practice visits and monitoring of training facilities.
  • Ensure supervisors and training facilities meet program requirements, including accreditation and placement agreements.
  • Develop and maintain manuals, workflows, and standard operating procedures to support quality improvement.
  • Monitor registrars, supervisors, and training facilities, and take early performance management steps where required.
  • Support workforce planning to inform forecasting and planning for the region.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in relationship management with diverse stakeholders, helping them achieve outcomes and meet requirements.
  • Ability to take ownership of program delivery outcomes through clear articulation and influence of program requirements.
  • Proven track record in managing competing tasks and priorities, with the ability to autonomously resolve complex issues.
  • Experience in dealing with conflicting stakeholder needs in an unbiased and supportive way.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures to guide stakeholders.
  • Experience working in health and/or education settings is highly desirable.
