About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our Foodservice Field Team in Melbourne. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing strong business relationships with allocated businesses, generating new business, and managing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop strong business relationships with allocated businesses, generate new business, and manage accounts.
  • Initiate and ensure a responsive approach to the sales marketing territory requirements.
  • Ensure pro-active reporting of all sales requirements.
  • Contribute as an effective member of the Foodservice Team, including mentoring new staff, contributing to team outcomes/goals, and developing and maintaining effective communication.
  • Conduct 'cook-ups' and product presentations and visit distributors as per call cycle.
  • Visit end-users as per call cycle, conduct product presentation and cook-ups as required, launch new SKU's as directed by State Field Sales Manager, maintain key accounts.
  • Complete call cycle planning and updating customer databases. Ad hoc support as directed by the State Field Sales Manager.

About You

We are looking for a self-starter with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, a strong team player with the ability to relate to and build relationships with all levels of the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Sales Representative or similar role within the foodservice industry – desirable.
  • Australian Driver's Licence – mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate as part of a challenging team environment.
