Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Marketing Manager - Adviser to join our Growth and Retention marketing team at Vanguard Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering impactful adviser marketing initiatives to drive growth within our adviser segment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B growth and retention marketing strategy, sales enablement, nurture journeys, and event management. Responsibilities:
  • Hire, evaluate, and supervise a team of three marketing specialists, providing guidance and training as necessary to develop the team.
  • Develop and execute adviser marketing strategies that drive demand and increase market share within the adviser segment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align adviser marketing initiatives with business objectives and sales targets.
  • Partner closely with the Sales team to achieve sales targets, providing sales teams with the resources, content, and events they need to effectively engage with adviser prospects and clients.
  • Lead the development of growth and retention marketing strategies to engage advisers at each stage of the customer journey, creating personalized and automated campaigns to drive share of wallet and retention of advisers.
  • Oversee the adviser sponsorship, event, and webinar strategy, tracking and measuring performance and conducting post-event reviews to continuously improve performance and impact.
  • Leverage data and analytics to track and analyze key performance metrics related to adviser marketing initiatives, ensuring marketing ROI.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership on the effectiveness of adviser marketing programs and campaigns, using data-driven insights to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement within the adviser marketing function.
  • Maintain control, compliance, audit, and legal requirements in adviser marketing strategies, maintaining an appropriate level of technical marketing and business knowledge to support program implementation.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Wealth Management marketing roles, with a proven track record of driving results and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Deep understanding of adviser marketing principles, strategies, and tactics, including demand generation, sales enablement, lifecycle marketing, nurture journeys, and event management.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to leverage data and insights to drive decision-making and optimize marketing performance.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 per annumInclusion Statement
