We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Conquest Personnel Pty Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and expansion in the solar energy market.

About the Role

This is a critical position that requires a strategic thinker with comprehensive knowledge of the solar energy market and a proven track record in business development and account management within the solar industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and enhance market presence
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the B2B solar sector
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and timely issue resolution
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics
  • Prepare and present proposals to key decision-makers
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our products and services
  • Develop comprehensive account plans to drive growth and retention within existing accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless product and service delivery to clients
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing stakeholders
  • Achieve all KPIs set by management

About You

We seek an experienced Business Development Manager with a passion for the renewable energy sector. You should have a proven track record of exceeding KPIs, an extensive client portfolio, and strong connections in the solar industry. Experience with government tenders and large-scale projects is a plus. With over five years of experience in the solar field, you'll possess the contacts and reputation needed to excel.
