Key Role in Patient Experience

The Administration Officer plays a vital part in ensuring patients have a positive experience during their care.

Shift times range from 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am.

We specialise in Cardiology, Orthopaedics, General Surgery and Cancer, providing onsite medical and surgical services while delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Greet all customers with a friendly and professional manner
  • Handle enquiries with a polite and courteous tone
  • Answer and redirect calls efficiently
  • Prepare admission paperwork accurately
  • Perform Health Fund Checks as required
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Manage the collection of Emergency Department deposits, Health fund Excess/co-payments and out-of-pocket fees
  • Coordinate with staff from other departments seamlessly
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient information data collection and processing of medical records
  • Have experience in an acute patient-focused Healthcare facility/Hospital
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Show highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail
  • Show the ability to work well independently and within a team
  • Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) is essential
  • Be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including 7-day rotating rosters
  • WebPas Hospital system experience is desirable
