Patient Experience Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our patients.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and build rapport through in-person and phone interactions.
- Screen and answer incoming calls promptly; take messages, and relay information as needed.
- Verify outpatient therapy insurance benefits (where applicable) and advise patients of financial responsibilities such as co-pays, deductibles, or co-insurance.
- Manage incoming physician referrals and prescriptions; communicate first visit expectations to new patients.
- Scan insurance cards, ID cards, and relevant paperwork into patient files.
- Collect co-pays and deductibles, provide receipts, balance daily collections, and submit charges to the Clinic Manager.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment; sanitize spaces according to CDC guidelines.
What We Are Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Recent customer service experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Reliable, honest, and adaptable in fast-paced team environments.
