Credit Management Specialist

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable and credit management, with experience in managing debtors ledgers and negotiating payment schedules.
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Credit Management Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for opening new accounts, managing debtors ledgers, and negotiating payment schedules.
About the Role:
- Opening new accounts with caution, prioritizing risk management.
- Approving account openings in a timely manner.
- Managing debtors ledgers, setting customer credit limits, and negotiating payment schedules.
- Making high-volume calls to manage customer relationships and resolve queries.
- Monitoring and updating debtor records, identifying potential bad debts and initiating recovery procedures.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in Accounts Receivable/Credit, preferably in a medium to large working environment.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a confident personality.
- Prior experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
