We are seeking an experienced Credit Specialist to manage daily collections activities and partner with frontline teams to improve customer quality.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee credit rules and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer outcomes.
- Monitor service levels, collection rates, resources, and team productivity to ensure optimal performance.
- Partner with the hardship team to provide customers with tailored advice and support while maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to address matters impacting credit and related activities.
- Ensure all processes align with relevant regulations.
- Proven experience in a relevant role within the utilities sector.
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor an effective credit risk and collection management framework.
- Strong understanding of financial hardship and the capacity to balance financial and customer objectives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Capacity to lead and motivate offshore phone-based credit/collections teams.
