About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Risk Manager to represent Amazon Flex in conciliation meetings with labour arbitration bodies and regulators. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on the cutting edge of innovation while driving improved experiences for customers and delivery partners.

As a Senior Risk Manager, you will play a pivotal role in case intake and management, collaborating closely with our legal team and enforcement owners to mitigate risks and prepare strategic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fair Work Commission Representation: Serve as the primary representative of Amazon Flex in conciliation meetings with the Australian Fair Work Commission and other labour arbitration bodies.
  • Legal Support and Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with legal, enforcement, and policy teams to assess and mitigate risks associated with labour disputes, compliance issues, and regulatory changes.
  • Case File Preparation and Management: Gather, organize, and maintain comprehensive case files, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality.
  • Risk Assessment and Strategy Development: Identify emerging risks, regulatory trends, and arbitration case outcomes impacting company operations, policies, and employee relations.
  • Compliance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor compliance of internal policies relating directly to the Digital Labour Platform Deactivation Code and prepare regular reports for senior management and legal.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 6+ years of experience in compliance, audit, or risk management.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience engaging with regulatory agencies in permit applications or equivalent.
