We're seeking a highly skilled Strategic Labour and Compliance Manager to represent Amazon Flex in conciliation meetings with labour arbitration bodies. This role offers an opportunity to work on the forefront of innovation while driving improved experiences for Amazon customers and delivery partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fair Work Commission Representation: Serve as the primary representative of Amazon Flex in conciliation meetings with the Australian Fair Work Commission (FWC) and other labour arbitration bodies.
  • Legal Support and Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with the legal team to assess and mitigate risks associated with labour disputes, compliance issues, and regulatory changes.
  • Case File Preparation and Management: Gather, organize, and maintain comprehensive case files, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality.
  • Risk Assessment and Strategy Development: Identify emerging risks, regulatory trends, and arbitration case outcomes impacting the company's operations, policies, and employee relations.
  • Compliance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor compliance of internal policies relating directly to the Digital Labour Platform Deactivation Code (DLDP).

About You

We're looking for a candidate with 6+ years of experience in compliance, audit, or risk management. You should have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and experience engaging with regulatory agencies. A Master's degree or equivalent is preferred. Additionally, you should be able to build cross-functional partnerships and influence stakeholders across the organization.
