About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Amazon Labor Relations Specialist to join our team in Australia. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in representing Amazon Flex in conciliation meetings with the Australian Fair Work Commission (FWC) and/or other labor arbitration bodies/regulators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fair Work Commission Representation: Serve as the primary representative of Amazon Flex in conciliation meetings with the Australian Fair Work Commission (FWC) and other labor arbitration bodies.
  • Legal Support and Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with the legal, enforcement, and policy teams to assess and mitigate risks associated with labor disputes, compliance issues, and regulatory changes.
  • Case File Preparation and Management: Gather, organize, and maintain comprehensive case files, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality.
  • Risk Assessment and Strategy Development: Identify emerging risks, regulatory trends, and arbitration case outcomes impacting the company's operations, policies, and employee relations.
  • Compliance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor compliance of internal policies relating directly to the Digital Labour Platform Deactivation Code (DLDP), identifying areas for improvement or corrective action.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 6+ years of compliance, audit, or risk management experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience engaging with regulatory agencies in permit applications or equivalent.
  • Experience developing and implementing standards, policies, and programs or equivalent.
