Job Role Overview

The position of Water & Plant Operator is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, operating machinery, and contributing to an environmentally focused team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating the water truck to distribute water across the site with efficiency.
  • Watering windrows of raw material and accurately recording applications.
  • Conducting daily checks and routine maintenance on plant and machinery.
  • Operating front-end loaders, turning machines, and screening equipment safely.
  • Loading product into trucks for dispatch in a timely manner.
  • Traveling to off-site locations when required.
  • Collecting weekly site samples as necessary.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current HR license
  • Loader and forklift/telehandler tickets
  • Valid Australian driver's license
  • Previous machinery experience is advantageous
  • Mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills would be beneficial
  • Good attention to detail and strong commitment to workplace safety
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when needed
  • Reliability, punctuality, and positive attitude
