Job Overview:

This role presents a fantastic opportunity for hands-on professionals who enjoy operating machinery and working in an environmentally focused setting.

Key responsibilities include water truck operation, windrow watering, plant and equipment maintenance, as well as site upkeep tasks such as cleaning tree lines and grassed areas.

A current HR license, loader and forklift/telehandler tickets, and a valid Australian driver's license are required. Previous machinery experience is beneficial, along with mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the water truck to distribute water as needed across the site
  • Water windrows of raw material and record applications
  • Carry out daily checks and routine maintenance on plant and machinery
  • Operate front-end loaders, turning machines, and screening equipment
  • Load product into trucks for dispatch
  • Travel to off-site locations when necessary
  • Collect weekly site samples as required (e.g., moisture, temperature, porosity)
Requirements:
  • A current HR license
  • Loader and forklift/telehandler tickets
  • A valid Australian driver's license
  • Previous machinery experience is advantageous
  • Mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills would be valuable assets
  • Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety
  • A team mindset with the ability to work independently when required
