At McLean Packing Staff Pty Ltd we have a unique opportunity for a skilled individual to fill this role in a full-time capacity, based in Pittsworth QLD.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine inspections maintenance and troubleshooting on MOBA egg grading machines and related equipment.

Key responsibilities include performing tasks such as calibration adjustments to ensure machines run efficiently identifying and implementing improvements to optimise equipment performance and reduce downtime responding quickly to breakdowns diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to minimise disruptions supporting safety inspections and helping identify and reduce machinery risks.

Additional responsibilities include keeping accurate maintenance records including parts used and work completed managing spare parts inventory and coordinating with procurement as needed training operators and staff on machine use maintenance and safety procedures working closely with the maintenance and production teams on repairs and improvement projects programming and configuring PLCs and HMIs to control and monitor egg grading systems and liaising with equipment suppliers to integrate automated systems smoothly.

To be successful in this role you will require a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification proven experience with PLC programming and complex machinery maintenance skills in developing preventative maintenance plans strong communication skills with the ability to write reports and liaise with various teams excellent planning and time management skills confident using a range of computer programs and experience with MOBA machinery.
